The Third Prize in Syria

The 3rd Prize in the international cartoon contest themed "Women Education for Peace" - Syria 2017
Also there are 3 cartoons by me in the exhibition.

Suriye'de düzenlenen "Barış için Kadın Eğitimi" konulu yarışmada 3.lük ödülü. Ayrıca sergide toplam 3 çalışmam yer alıyor.

About me

menekse cam: izmir, Buca, Türkiye; I was born in Izmir (Turkey) in 1966. I was graduated from Department of painting at 9 Eylül University, Faculty of Education. I have been working as an visual arts teacher for twenty four years. I continued to my works using water colour and oil color for a long time. I opened various individual exhibitions and participated in joint painting exhibition. I completely have given weight to cartoons and caricatures at last years. I have a lot of works that won prizes, exhibited and selected to the albums (as national and international). A lot of my works are published in humor magazines and art magazines in Turkey, in Eulenspiegel Humor Magazine and Stern magazine in Germany, in Al Nas daily newspaper-Iraq, New internationalist-UK and in Smarteemag-Paris (as cover). Also they were exhibited a lot of times in Underground Exhibitions in Berlin. I have opened my first individual cartoon and caricature exhibition at 19th-25th october 2009. My second individual exhibition was organized by İzmir University at 4-7th march 2015. I have participated in many joint exhibitions.
